Natural Health Treatment and Living a Healthy Life

We are living in today's fast-paced world where it is easy to neglect our health and overall wellness.  We're so busy racing through our day-to-day lives-juggling our time at home and at work-that often, we don't take the time to look after ourselves.  Many of us feel completely jaded and run down that we shouldn't be surprised if we find later on that we are prone to diseases.  Unless we do something to improve our quality of life through natural health treatment, there is no hope for us living a healthy life.

You've heard it time and again that drinking plenty of water can do miraculous things to the body.  The human body is made up of 72% water and a 5% drop in fluids creates a 25-30% loss in energy.  Forebodingly, a 15% drop in fluids can cause death.  Sixty-six percent of Americans, over half the population, aren't drinking enough water.  We need to start drinking water religiously every day before things like bad air, bad food and stress take their toll.  With ten to twelve glasses of water per day, you'll already notice a huge leap in your energy levels.

It's probably right to assume that it's little known to everyone that heating food above 116 degrees Fahrenheit destroys much of the nutrient content.  Considering that we already aren't eating enough vegetables, that could pose a significant problem.  Nutritionists recommend five servings of fresh vegetables per day.  A great way to get the nutrients found in fresh veggies without spending all day at the stove or eating raw celery sticks is to juice your vegetables.  Grab some fresh vegetables for health supplies and drink your way to good health with a good juicer that doesn't expose vegetables to heat created by friction during juicing, breaking down important enzymes.  Juicing is absolutely convenient and it takes a fraction of the time for preparation since there's no cooking involved.

There are a lot of health supplies that are extremely beneficial for our body.  Wheatgrass, in particular, is an excellent source of nutrition.  It is high in chlorophyll and has over a hundred elements that our body needs.  Fresh grains are another great source of vitamins and minerals.  Eating healthy foods that are rich in nutrients is a natural health treatment that should be our first step to living a healthy life.

Exercise is another natural health treatment that we should practice.  Some of us don't find time to exercise because we think it's just time consuming or annoyingly boring.  In truth, there are plenty of options for exercise today.  You can now do yoga, water aerobics, pilates, step classes, dance exercise, and a wide variety of new workout options for an exercise.  If you don't have the time or money for the gym, you can try an exercise bike or walker and you wouldn't have to leave the comfort of your home just to get some exercise.

You can get back into a physical routine by starting slowly and continue to gradually increase your activity until you're at a level that you're comfortable with.  By doing this, you trick your body into producing more energy.  You're building your exercise time up so slowly that your body doesn't really realise what's happening and before you know it, you're already comfortably exercising within your limits every day.  Rearranging your life a little to allow for better eating habits and a little exercise is a crucial step to living a healthy life.
